Search Engine Optimization
Search engine optimization concerns improving a web site's structure and content, thereby improving your rankings for relevant keywords in the organic search results.
It involves trying to find out which keywords are the most relevant by looking at the market as a whole, especially the competition.
In order to help search engines find your pages easier and therefore index them you need to develop your pages with the correct technologies. For example, it is not recommended to use sites built with flash or framesets. Whilst these technologies can cause problems nothing is impossilbe as there are always work arounds.
